Originally founded in 1891, the company gradually evolved into specialist electrical and refrigerated equipment. Due to our location in the Laurieston area of Edinburgh, the main customer then was the relatively new Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. With developments in temperature control, since the 1930s the company has concentrated on refrigerated equipment especially medical & laboratory, this again can be traced to location of premises and the fact that Edinburgh has a relatively large university with a strong emphasis on medical research.

A range of Refrigerators designed specifically for use in Chromatography Work, Fraction Collection or Shelf Life Studies. These models are equipped with an electronic temperature controller, internal power sockets, cable access ports and double glazed door(s).

Cooled Incubators designed for applications which require precise temperature control. All models are equipped with a sophisticated microprocessor controller, providing optimum accuracy and temperature stability.
